Saints' Brandon Coleman has had lackluster offseason
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Brandon Coleman's training camp and preseason has been "pedestrian," as head coach Sean Payton described it.
Coleman chances of making the 53-man roster aren't "totally safe." He dropped a pass in last week's preseason game and almost lost a fumble to boot. Coleman has immense size and red-zone presence working in his favor, but little else. He's been tumbling down the depth chart since first-round rookie Michael Thomas arrived.
Our algorithms project Coleman for 24 receptions for 351 yards and 1.43 touchdowns in 2016. He's at best the fourth wide receiver in New Orleans.
