Once the pads came on, Davis' play slipped. He ran a 4.42-second 4-yard dash at 6'1" and 188 pounds, but Davis seems destined for either the practice squad or the weekly game day inactive list as the sixth receiver. Davis is a developmental prospect whose ceiling may be a deep threat and special teams ace. Even Jeff Janis is likely to outrank Davis on the depth chart this season.

As the sixth receiver on the depth chart behind Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, Davante Adams, Ty Montgomery and Jared Abbrederis, we currently project Janis to have just 3 catches for 38 yards and 0.25 touchdowns this season.
