Eric Ebron (ankle) expected to play in Week 1 for Lions
Detroit Lions tight end Eric Ebron (ankle) is expected to play in Week 1, per Adam Caplan of ESPN.
An ankle sprain has kept Ebron out since August 6, but Ebron is expected to be ready to go for Week 1 of the regular season, and even has a shot to play in the Lions' final preseason contest, according to Caplan.
Among the 28 tight ends to see at least 50 targets last year, Ebron ranked 11th in Reception Net Expected Points per target. Our algorithms project him to pull in 50 receptions for 533 yards and 4.82 touchdowns, if healthy.
