Tavarres King

Tavarres King worked as Giants' third receiver in second preseason

New York Giants wide receiver Tavarres King worked as the team's third receiver in the second preseason game.

What It Means:

He only managed to catch 1-of-3 targets for eight yards, but just missed staying in bounds for what would have a been a long catch down the sideline. King saw significant work with the first-team offense in what will likely be Victor Cruz's spot if he can get healthy. As of now, there are few signs that say Cruz will even be ready for Week 1. King is not fantasy viable right now, but he is a name to watch.

The third wide receiver in a pass-first offense is still a valuable spot, and we project Cruz for 600 receiving yards and 3.10 touchdowns on 45 catches this year if healthy.
