Cardinals' Larry Fitzgerald dealing with MCL sprain

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is dealing with a "slight MCL" sprain, head coach Bruce Arians said.

What It Means:

Fitzgerald was held out of practice Wednesday before sitting out the second preseason game Friday night. There is not much reason for concern at this point, but Fitzgerald will likely be treated lightly through the rest of the preseason. With John Brown still not practicing because of a concussion, the Cardinals have some injury issues at receiver, and there's no reason to risk their stars in exhibition games.

If he's healthy, our algorithms project Fitzgerald as the 26th-best wide receiver for fantasy purposes this year. We like him for 1,156 yards and 6.06 touchdowns on 91 catches in 2016.
