Saints to lean on Cameron Jordan following release of Galette
The New Orleans Saints are expected to lean on defensive end Cameron Jordan for pass rushing after the release of Junior Galette.
Jordan is currently slotted atop the Saints depth chart at defensive end. Jordan has recorded an impressive 28.0 sacks the last three seasons in New Orleans, but he will have a tall order to replace Galette who had 22.0 sacks last two seasons.
The Saints had a much improved pass defense this past season ranking 10th in our schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points metric. We project Jordan to finish the year with 43 tackles and 10.5 sacks this upcoming season.
