Detroit Lions linebacker Jon Bostic is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery on his leg.
Head coach Jim Caldwell said Monday that he's "not sure" if Bostic will "return this year or not," but we'd bet against it. Bostic suffered the leg injury in a training camp practice last Wednesday. He was competing for a backup job.
In 2014, Bostic recorded a career-high 83 tackles in 13 games for the Chicago Bears.
