Nolan Carroll sitting ahead of Ron Brooks on Eagles' depth chart
Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Nolan Carroll has moved ahead of Ron Brooks on the depth chart.
This was the expectation all along, but Carroll took a long time to make it official as he recovered from a broken leg. Carroll and Leodis McKelvin will man the boundaries, with Brooks working in the slot.
The Eagles had a solid pass defense in 2015, finishing 13th in Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play. Our algorithms project Carroll for 63.25 tackles, 9.21 passes defended, and 1.82 interceptions in 2016.
