Bills' Zach Brown favored to start in place of Reggie Ragland (knee)
Buffalo Bills inside linebacker Zach Brown is the favorite to start in place of rookie Reggie Ragland (knee).
Brown was a full-time starter with the Tennessee Titans before losing his job last season. He's an obvious talent downgrade from Ragland, but has always been solid in coverage. He'll be a good complement to tackler Preston Brown, while Brandon Spikes will push Zach for rushing down snaps.
Prior to his injury, our algorithms projected Ragland for 101.80 tackles and 1.81 sacks this season. Brown should take on the bulk of that, and also add some value in passes defended. Buffalo ranked 16th in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play last season.
