Texans clear Ryan Griffin (Achilles') for practice
Houston Texans tight end Ryan Griffin (Achilles') has been cleared to practice.
Griffin sat out the offseason program and missed the first week of training camp, but there is no concern about his availability for Week 1. He's returning as the starter after posting a career-high 20 catches for 251 yards and two touchdowns in nine games last year.
Griffin could have some sneaky fantasy upside as numberFire's 24th projected tight end at the moment. Our algorithms give him 34 catches for 422 yards receiving and 4.58 touchdowns this year.
