Bennie Fowler seizing Broncos' third wide receiver job
Denver Broncos wide receiver Bennie Fowler has emerged as the "frontrunner" for the number three receiver job.
Cody Latimer continues to shape up as a bust, despite his second-round draft pedigree. The Broncos use far more two-tight end than three-receiver sets under head coach Gary Kubiak, so Fowler's fantasy impact will be negligible even if he wins the job. However, Fowler has reportedly been the most "consistent" early in camp, which explains their favor for him.
Our algorithms peg Fowler as the third-best Denver receiver for fantasy purposes in 2016, with 23 receptions for 257 yards and 1.27 touchdowns.
