Jadeveon Clowney slims to 265 pounds for Texans
Houston Texans outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney is practicing at 265 pounds this summer, and has appeared "visibly lighter and quicker."
Clowney played at 284 pounds last season. "He's a guy that's gotten better," head coach Bill O'Brien said. "I think he's added a couple of pass rush moves. He's getting better every day." Clowney's troublesome health has taken on even greater importance with superstar defensive end J.J. Watt recovering from back surgery.
The Texans finished third in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play in 2015.
