Cardinals' Tyrann Mathieu (knee) is two weeks from a return
Arizona Cardinals defensive back Tyrann Mathieu (knee) is two weeks away from practicing, head coach Bruce Arians says.
What It Means:
He's progressing on schedule. Mathieu is technically questionable for Week 1, but barring a setback, he should be ready to go.
The Cardinals ranked eighth in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play in 2015. Our algorithms project Mathieu for 96 total tackles, four interceptions and 13 passes defensed in 2016. He's our top projected defensive back for Individual Defensive Player (IDP) fantasy football leagues.
