Panthers' Stephen Hill having trouble with knee

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Stephen Hill is still struggling with the right knee in which he tore three ligaments last season.

What It Means:

Hill still isn't recovered from the knee injury he suffered early in training camp last year, but this report also confirms that Hill did not just tear his ACL and his hamstring last season, making his injury markedly more severe. Hill has reportedly been spotted by reporters having "tweaked" the balky knee on two separate occasions, missing reps, and icing the knee afterward.

Hill hasn't made an impact in the regular season since 2013 with the New York Jets, when his 0.29 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) per target ranked last among the 89 wide receivers with at least 50 targets that year.
