Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jeff Janis is listed with the third-team offense on the team's initial depth chart.
What It Means:
Janis is behind both Davante Adams and Jared Abbrederis in the Packers' pecking order. While the 25-year-old is a folk hero in the fantasy/metrics community, he has never been able to put it all together in practice, repeatedly suffering from mental lapses and failing to earn the trust of quarterback Aaron Rodgers. However, Janis is expected to retain his spot on the 53-man roster, as he remains one of Green Bay's best special teams players.
