Will Tye

Giants rotating tight ends equally in training camp

The New York Giants are rotating all of their tight ends in with the first-team offense, ESPN's Jordan Raanan reports.

What It Means:

This is a wide-open competition between Larry Donnell and Will Tye, mostly. Tye took over after Donnell went down with a neck injury last season, but neither has established himself to this point in 2016. Tye has much more fantasy upside, but he needs to win the job outright to enter the starting conversation.

As the incumbent starter, our algorithm is giving Donnell the first crack at a starting projection, but we believe Tye will still factor in this year. Tye is our 40th-best fantasy tight end going into training camp, with a projected line of 26 catches for 286 receiving yards and 1.84 touchdowns.
