Denver Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman admitted he is behind "the eight ball" in the Broncos’ running back competition.
With C.J. Anderson locked in as the starter and fourth-round rookie Devontae Booker guaranteed a roster spot, Hillman needs to beat out short-yardage back Juwan Thompson and special teamer Kapri Bibbs for a roster spot. Hillman is facing an uphill climb, due to a limited, offense-only skillset.
Hillman is still a top-50 back until we see otherwise. Our algorithms project him for 168 rushes for 651 yards and 3.81 touchdowns, as well as 23 receptions for 138 yards this upcoming season.
