Ronnie Hillman is no lock for Broncos' roster
Denver Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman will have to play a much larger role on special teams in order to make the 53-man roster, ESPN reporter Jeff Legwold believes.
Hillman has always been one-dimensional, just playing offense. He has never been a big special teams contributor, and his limited skill set may need the Broncos to keep four or five running backs to secure a spot. C.J. Anderson is the clear starter, Devontae Booker has recent draft pedigree on his side, and Juwan Thompson has fullback versatility and is a key gunner in kick coverage. Kapri Bibbs is Hillman's main roster competition.
Our algorithms peg Hillman as the 42nd-best fantasy option at the position if he makes the team, however. We project him for 168 carries for 651 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns, to go with 23 receptions for 138 yards receiving.
