Rashad Greene enters training camp as Jaguars' slot starter

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Rashad Greene is expected to be the team's third receiver this year, according to the Florida Times Union's Ryan O'Halloran.

What It Means:

"If the [Jaguars] get anything out of [Marqise] Lee, it will be a bonus," O'Halloran said on Mike Clay's Sirius XM Fantasy show. Greene is entrenched in the slot, which means Lee is the top backup for the perimeter receivers. The Jags may not go three wide especially often considering the receiving chops of tight ends Julius Thomas and Marcedes Lewis.

Our algorithms project Lee to finish slightly higher this year, with a receiving line of 22 catches for 255 yards receiving and 1.34 scores. Green comes in ten spots behind in our projection, with 18 receptions for 212 yards and 1.01 touchdowns.
