Eagles aren't likely to pursue Stephen Tulloch

The Philadelphia Eagles won't pursue free agent linebacker Stephen Tulloch, guesses CSN Philly's Reuben Frank.

What It Means:

Tulloch has a working history with defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, and the Eagles have some concerns about the depth of their linebacker corps. But it doesn't appear to be enough for the team to want to spend the $985,000 veteran minimum it'd require to sign Tulloch. At this stage of his career, he's little more than a two-down run plugger and veteran leader.

Tulloch is 31, but played a full 16 games last year, racking up 108 total tackles, one sack and one pass defensed. In 2015, the Eagles ranked 19th in our schedule-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play metric.
