Seahawks' Thomas Rawls (ankle surgery) will be ready for training camp

Seattle Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls (ankle surgery) promised he'll be a full go for the start of training camp, appearing at a charity softball game on Sunday.

What It Means:

Rawls fractured his ankle, and also suffered ligament damage last December, missing all of OTA's with the injury. "Running, cutting, working hard, getting back out there," Rawls described. "I'm looking forward to being out there the first week (of training camp). Rehab has been going phenomenal this whole offseason." Rawls' injury was not seen as overly severe at the time, so this situation has been cloudy all offseason. In May, head coach Pete Carroll said they would "ease" Rawls into training camp.

Our algorithms project Rawls as the 14th-best running back fantasy option going into training camp. We peg him for 211 rushing attempts for 985 yards and eight touchdowns this upcoming season, in addition to 25 receptions for 197 yards and one touchdown.
