Eric Rowe

Eagles' staff is not enamored with Eric Rowe

The Philadelphia Eagles coaching staff "doesn’t seem high" on second-year cornerback Eric Rowe.

What It Means:

Based on the pecking order at OTA's, Rowe was a distant fourth on the depth chart behind the locked-in Leodis McKelvin, as well as Nolan Carroll and Ron Brooks. According to the Newark Star-Ledger, he "needs a strong training camp to see the field." Rowe can still earn plenty of playing time as the year goes on, but could be limited to nickel packages at most to open the season.

The Eagles had a solid pass defense in 2015, finishing 13th in Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play. Our algorithms project Rowe for 69.07 tackles, 2.10 interceptions and 6.10 passes defensed this season.
