The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have re-signed defensive lineman Da'Quan Bowers to a one-year deal.
The former second-round pick has only piled up seven sacks and has missed 14 games during his four-year career. He is currently slotted into a reserve role this upcoming season.
The Buccaneers impressively ranked fourth in schedule-adjusted Defensive Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play last season, but they struggled against the pass, ranking 31st in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play.
