Chargers' Branden Oliver should be healthy for training camp

San Diego Chargers running back Branden Oliver expects to be fully healthy for training camp.

What It Means:

Oliver missed the final eight weeks of the 2015 season on injured reserve with turf toe. He’s been cleared since OTA's and hasn’t had setbacks. With lead back Melvin Gordon (knee) on track for Week 1, and Danny Woodhead a strong receiving backup, Oliver doesn’t project for more than a backup role.

Oliver had 31 rushes for -0.03 Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per attempt in 2015, and saw 15 targets for a 0.36 Reception NEP per target. In 2016, our algorithms project him for 36 rushes for 129 rush yards and 0.73 touchdowns, in addition to 14 receptions for 114.50 yards and 0.43 scores in the air.
