Former New York Jets running back Michael Carter was claimed by the Arizona Cardinals on Wednesday.
Carter was released by the Jets earlier in the week and picked up by the Cardinals on Wednesday. He will join a running back group lead by James Conner, that also includes Emari Demercado (toe) and Keaontay Ingram.
In 9 games for the Jets this season, Carter had 8 rushing attempts for 38 yards and 15 receptions on 20 targets for 68 receiving yards.
