The Cleveland Browns announced that running back Jerome Ford (ankle) would be questionable to return late in their Week 7 game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Ford got wrapped up on a tackle for a loss and appeared to twist his ankle in a painful manner. It doesn't look like he'll return in Week 7, but will hopefully avoid a multiple-week absence. With Kareem Hunt (thigh) also banged up, the Browns have turned to Pierre Strong Jr. as their primary back in the fourth quarter.
Ford broke off a long touchdown to get the Browns on the scoreboard early on, but was largely bottled up afterwards. He'll finish the day with 74 rushing yards and a touchdown on 11 carries and with 2 catches for 20 more yards.
