Seahawks sign Doug Baldwin to four-year extension
The Seattle Seahawks signed wide receiver Doug Baldwin to a four-year, $46 million extension, which goes through 2020.
ESPN's Ed Werder reported it includes $24.25 million guaranteed. It makes Baldwin one of the highest-paid second-tier receivers in the league and is a nice middle ground after Baldwin exploded for an unrepeatable 14 touchdowns in 2015. Baldwin, who turns 28 in September, is now locked up through his age-32 campaign. Baldwin is the Seahawks' clear-cut top wideout, but Tyler Lockett has also earned a ton of buzz and could see an increased role.
We project Baldwin for 76 catches for 1,022 yards receiving and nine touchdowns this year. He's our 17th-ranked fantasy wide receiver going into training camp.
