What It Means:

Kupp has been sidelined for the opening four weeks of the season after suffering a setback on his hamstring injury which occurred during the preseason. He is expected to return to practice next week and the Rams will "listen closely" to Kupp before deciding when to activate him off injured reserve. Kupp's return to practice is a good sign, but Los Angeles' uncertainty around his status might mean Week 5 comes too soon for Kupp to be active. Expect more information to be made available next week.
