Packers' Christian Watson (hamstring) an estimated DNP for Monday walkthrough
The Green Bay Packers listed wide receiver Christian Watson (hamstring) as a DNP in their estimated injury report from Monday's practice.
Watson now appears to be trending towards missing a fourth straight game to open the season. The second year wideout seemed poised for a breakout campaign alongside new starting quarterback Jordan Love, but the duo could need to wait at least another week to continue working on their chemistry.
Watson was an explosive playmaker in his rookie season, totaling 611 yards and 7 touchdowns on just 41 catches. He also took 7 carries for 80 yards and 2 scores, further demonstrating his rare speed and playmaking ability. His absence has opened up opportunities for Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed, who have thrived in their roles so far this season.
