Staley: Chargers' Austin Ekeler (ankle) without timetable for return
Los Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley said Monday that there is "no timeline" for running back Austin Ekeler (ankle) to return.
Ekeler suffered an ankle injury in the Chargers' Week 1 loss to the Miami Dolphins and was unable to suit up against the Tennessee Titans in Week 2. It now appears as though the star running back could be in danger of missing at least one more game as he works back to full health.
With Ekeler sidelined in Week 2, Joshua Kelley handled almost every snap and opportunity for the Chargers' running backs against the Titans. He could see that usage pay off in fantasy in Week 3 against the Minnesota Vikings.
