Miami using rookie Thomas Duarte at tight end
Miami Dolphins rookie Thomas Duarte is being used at tight end in workouts this summer.
Duarte -- a seventh-round pick -- played receiver at UCLA, but at 6-foot-2, 231 pounds, he has the size to move to tight end. He scored 10 touchdowns with the Bruins last year as a junior.
Miami ranked 20th in Adjusted Offensive Net Expected Points per play last year. Duarte will have a tough time seeing the field as a rookie, stuck behind (at least) Jordan Cameron and Dion Sims.
