Jordan Todman

Jordan Todman could be a camp cut for Colts

Indianapolis Colts running back Jordan Todman is on the roster bubble, and ESPN reporter Mike Wells left him off his 53-man roster projection.

What It Means:

Todman is theoretically competing with Robert Turbin for the backup role behind Frank Gore, but both could be supplanted by undrafted rookie Josh Ferguson. Todman looked good in limited work with the Pittsburgh Steelers last season, and it would not be a shock if he beat out Turbin in camp.

2014 was Todman's last season with greater than 50 opportunities. In 32 carries for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Todman accrued a 0.03 Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per carry mark, and a paltry 0.16 Reception NEP per target on 37 looks in the passing game.
