New York Giants linebacker Jasper Brinkley worked as the first-team middle linebacker "most of the spring."
Kelvin Sheppard got some time with the starters in minicamp, but NJ Advance Media's Jordan Raanan believes Brinkley is the favorite for the job right now. Keenan Robinson and rookie B.J. Goodson could also be in the mix.
The Giants ranked 24th in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play in 2015.
