Morris Claiborne has impressed at Cowboys OTA's

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne's performance has impressed at OTA's, Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News says.

What It Means:

George also mentioned Brandon Carr as one of the team's offseason standouts. Both players seem plenty motivated heading into their contract years. Beat writer Jon Machota agrees that Claiborne is "going all out" this spring, diving for balls and playing tight coverage. Claiborne has underachieved since entering the league as the No. 1 overall pick in 2012, but is working hard to change that perception.

The Cowboys ranked 19th in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points (NEP) per play last season. In 11 games in 2015, Claiborne had 37 total tackles and 7 passes defensed.
