De'Anthony Thomas not a lock to make Chiefs' roster
Kansas City Chiefs wideout De'Anthony Thomas may be in danger of losing his roster spot, ESPN Chiefs reporter Adam Teicher believes.
Teicher wrote it is "unlikely" the Chiefs keep both Thomas and fifth-round rookie Tyreek Hill. If that is the case, Hill would seem to have the advantage considering he does a lot of the same things Thomas can and is healthier after Thomas missed the end of last season with a concussion. Thomas is still only 23, however, and Hill has a very disturbing off-field past. It is not out of the question both stick.
Thomas made 17 grabs for 140 yards and one score last season. He added nine receptions for 34 yards and another touchdown. A gadget player, Thomas' contributions as a return man should ensure he lands on another roster if Kansas City lets him go.
