Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard (leg) has been participating in OTAs.
Pollard fractured his fibula in the Cowboys' loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the playoffs in January. His participation in the Cowboy's reduced-tempo OTAs is an excellent sign that he is on track to be ready for the starting of training camp. Pollard is expected to take on a larger role for Dallas this year with Ezekiel Elliott no longer on the team.
Last season, Pollard turned 193 carries into 1,007 rushing yards and 9 rushing touchdowns. In the passing game he added 39 receptions on 55 targets for 371 receiving yards and 3 receiving touchdowns.
