Buffalo's Gabriel Davis 'moving around a lot easier' in OTAs

The Athletic's Joe Buscaglia noted that Buffalo Bills receiver Gabriel Davis (ankle) was "moving around a lot easier" than he was at the end of the 2022 season.

What It Means:

Davis entered his 2022 campaign as one of the most-hyped breakout candidates at the wide receiver position after his four-touchdown performance in the 2021 AFC Championship game. He seemed on track to live up to those expectations in Week 1 when he caught a deep touchdown pass from Josh Allen, but a sudden ankle injury ahead of their Week 2 game seemed to mostly derail his season from then on. He'll be healthy heading into 2023 and again figures to operate as the Bills' WR2 across from Stefon Diggs.

Davis' 2022 season disappointed fantasy managers, but he still finished the campaign with a respectable 48/836/7 line. The Bills should continue to throw the ball at one of the highest rates in the league in 2023, and a healthy Davis will stand to benefit from their aggressive play-calling.
