Aaron Dobson has had a good start to Patriots OTA's
New England Patriots wide receiver Aaron Dobson has had "a really good start" to the offseason program, wide receivers coach Chad O'Shea said.
Good starts in the spring have become commonplace for Dobson during his now-four-year career, but maintaining health and carrying it over into training camp, preseason and games that matter has been the issue. Dobson faces an uphill battle to make the 53-man roster should everyone stay healthy, especially with rookie Malcolm Mitchell now in the fold.
Dobson wasn't especially effective last year, recording just 0.57 Reception Net Expected Points per target.
