The Seattle Seahawks selected Jaxon Smith-Njigba from Ohio State University with the twentieth pick of the 2023 NFL Draft.
The Seahawks made Smith-Njigba the first receiver drafted on Thursday, selecting him with the twentieth overall pick. The talented former Buckeye missed much of the 2022 season with a hamstring injury, but was one of the top receivers in all of college football a season ago. He'll slot in nicely with D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett in Seattle.
Smith-Njigba managed to post a ridiculous receiving line of 95 catches for 1,606 yards and 9 touchdowns in 2021 despite playing alongside Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson, who themselves would go on to become first round picks in the 2022 NFL Draft. His will be a name to monitor in fantasy drafts in 2023.
