Dolphins' Dion Jordan will apply for reinstatement this week

Miami Dolphins suspended defensive end Dion Jordan plans to apply for reinstatement to the NFL on Wednesday.

What It Means:

Jordan's indefinite suspension was handed down last April due to multiple failed drug tests. He's been rarely heard from since, but broke his silence this week in an interview with USA Today. "I’m not about to waste it," said Jordan, referring to his NFL career. "I can’t waste it. And I (expletive) love doing it." Jordan turned 26 in May. He was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2013 draft.

In 2015, Miami ranked just 30th in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points (NEP) per play and 31st in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play. They need all the help they can get.
