Jets' Calvin Pryor plans on taking a big step forward

New York Jets strong safety Calvin Pryor feels like he has not come close to reaching his potential.

What It Means:

"I haven't even hit the ceiling fan yet," Pryor said. "I think with Year 3, I can only get better." Pryor struggled as a rookie as the Jets were forced to play him out of position at free safety, but he was steadier in his natural strong safety role as a sophomore. With another offseason to become completely comfortable with Todd Bowles' defense, the Jets will hope Pryor can take another step forward this year.

The Jets' defense finished the 2015 season ranked sixth in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play.
