Steelers' Mike Mitchell (shoulder) will return for training camp
Pittsburgh Steelers free safety Mike Mitchell (shoulder surgery) is expected to be cleared for training camp.
What It Means:
Mitchell is also recovering from hand surgery and shouldn't face much competition for his starting job.
The Steelers' defense -- for all of their reported troubles -- still ranked 11th in the league in Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points last season. Mitchell had a great stat line in 2015, racking up 80 total tackles, three interceptions and nine passes defended.
