Jerick McKinnon (hamstring) sitting Thursday for Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs running back Jerick McKinnon (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday.
McKinnon also missed Wednesday's practice, putting him in danger of missing Week 13 versus the Cincinnati Bengals. Ronald Jones and the recently-signed Melvin Gordon will likely compete for a role in the passing game if McKinnon is ruled out. Isiah Pacheco is expected to continue to handle early-down work for the Chiefs.
McKinnon played at least 34% of the snaps in seven straight games and he has at least 6 targets in three of the last four. numberFire's models currently project him for 3.9 targets versus the Bengals on Sunday. Per our NFL Heat Map, the Chiefs-Bengals game has the highest over/under in Week 13 at 51.5 points.
