Rams expect Cooper Kupp (ankle) to miss 6-8 weeks
Adam Schefter reports that the Los Angeles Rams expect Cooper Kupp (ankle) to miss between 6 and 8 weeks.
Kupp underwent surgery to repair his injured ankle earlier this week, and is now expected to miss between 6 to 8 weeks as he recovers. With the Rams' playoff hopes already dwindling, it is fair to wonder if the team will shut down their star receiver for the remainder of the season.
Kupp's 6-8 week prognosis means that his season for fantasy football is likely over; most fantasy leagues commence their playoffs in Weeks 14 or 15, and Kupp's timeline would have him returning closer to Week 17 or 18. He could be worth hanging onto in leagues with injured reserve spots, but otherwise is likely droppable.
