49ers' Bruce Miller practicing exclusively at tight end
San Francisco 49ers fullback Bruce Miller has been practicing exclusively at tight end this offseason.
The Niners have gone as far as to ban Miller from running back meetings. We knew Miller had been "mixing in" at tight end, but it sounds like 49ers' coach Chip Kelly wants to give a full-time switch a chance. Built like an H-back, Miller has always had soft hands, and the 49ers have one of the league's weakest tight end corps.
In 2015, Miller accrued 8.52 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) on 14 targets, good for a solid clip 0.61 Reception NEP per target.
