PJ Walker to start for Panthers in Week 10
Carolina Panthers quarterback PJ Walker will start Thursday in the team's Week 10 game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Walker was replaced by Baker Mayfield after the Panthers fell behind 35-0 to Cincinnati on Sunday. However, rather than make that quarterback change permanent - or even turn to Sam Darnold, who has been activated off injured reserve - head coach Steve Wilks announced Walker would stay as QB1 on the short week. However, should the former XFL signal caller falter once again, don't be surprised if Wilks is quick to make a change.
In 5 games this season, Walker has completed 53-of-90 passes for 623 yards and 3 touchdowns with 3 interceptions.
