New England Patriots tight end Jonnu Smith will not return Sunday in the team's Week 4 game against the Green Bay Packers.
Smith is dealing with an ankle injury, and as a result, he has been ruled out for the rest of the afternoon. Hunter Henry is the only active tight end currently, and the Patriots are deploying backup linemen as extra blockers to fill Smith's role.
Smith did not have a target while he was playing.
