Mac Jones (ankle) missing from Patriots practice Wednesday
New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones (ankle) was not seen at the portion of Wednesday's practice open to the media.
Jones is dealing with what is reportedly believed to be a serious ankle injury, so it would be more surprising if he was able to practice on Wednesday. Brian Hoyer is expected to start in place of Jones in Week 4 against the Green Bay Packers.
Hoyer has a $6,300 salary on FanDuel and he is the QB32 in numberFire's Week 4 fantasy rankings. Through three weeks, the Packers are No. 12 in the league in FanDuel points allowed per game to the quarterback position this season.
