49ers' George Kittle (groin) not expected to play in Week 2
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (groin) is not expected to play in the team's Week 2 game against the Seattle Seahawks.
What It Means:
Kittle has reportedly been pushing to play, but it seems like the 49ers coaches will take a more conservative approach with their star tight end. Kittle does appear to be on the verge of returning to the field, it just may have to wait another week.
If Kittle does miss this afternoon's contest, Brandon Aiyuk could see additional volume in the passing game against the Seahawks (especially if Deebo Samuel inherits more rushing work for this contest). Aiyuk has a $5,700 salary on FanDuel and is projected to score 7.0 fantasy points.
