According to Jerry Jones, Dallas Cowboy quarterback Dak Prescott (hand) will not be placed on the injured reserve.
Per Jones, despite Prescott needing surgery for his hand injury, the Cowboys will operate with "the belief can return in the next four games." Cooper Rush is the next man up as Dallas' starting signal caller with Prescott out an extended amount of time.
Rush's Week Two projection against the Cincinnati Bengals includes 21.6 completions for 1.1 touchdowns and 229.8 yards and 3.9 rushing attempts for 16.9 yards.
